About Games Legacy
Games Legacy helps you find community ports, recompilations and other projects that keep older games available on modern hardware.
What the catalog covers
A game can have several projects with different aims. One may offer a playable port; another may reconstruct the original source or document how the game works. Check the named project before choosing a download or following build instructions.
Game pages link to the projects and their own release instructions. Original game data may be required. The project's documentation tells you which files and versions it accepts.
How we check details
Reviewed descriptions use the project's official documentation. The date on a reviewed page records that source check. It does not mean we built the software or tested every supported device.
Some entries still contain imported summaries and have no review date. Instructions and platform support can change, so read the linked project documentation before installing.
